Arbitration

Pennsylvania has recently passed 42 Pa. Cons. Statute Section 7371-7398, which will become effective on July 7, 2024. Bunde & Roberts, P.C. Attorney Robb D. Bunde served as Co-Chair of the Arbitration Committee of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and worked for four years to have a uniform arbitration act enacted into law in Pennsylvania. This act sets forth the procedure for Arbitration in Family Law matters in Pennsylvania. Robb D. Bunde is certified in Family Law Arbitration by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Arbitration v. Tradition Litigation

Arbitration is a private, efficient, and often less costly alternative dispute resolution avenue to traditional litigation. Individual parties, with counsel, select an arbitrator of their choice to resolve their dispute. In doing so, the parties dictate the issues they are submitting for arbitration; dictate the role of the arbitrator; negotiate the costs of the arbitration; dictate the time in which a resolution is to be rendered with an award; and do so privately with a sealed record as to any public filings.
